Basketball is a spherical inflated ball used in the game of basketball. Basketballs typically range in size from very small promotional items only a few inches in diameter to extra large balls nearly a foot in diameter used in training exercises to increase the skill of players. The standard size of a basketball for NBA is 29.5 inches in circumference. On my research, Spalding was the first company to produce a basketball for official use. The pricing for this official ball is about $200. It's the standard price for this brand. My wish is to have one Molten or a Nike ball, because I feel that the Molten and Nike ball has a better grip than other brands of ball. Therefore, I prefer Molten and Nike. And this means that I can't play well if I am a NBA player. This is just my opinion, because every people has his or her own ideas and opinions on different things.

Michael Jordan's moves~
Now I present you Michael Jordan, a professional basketball player, to teach you to take his lesson and be a superstar of your playground!!! :)
Besides that, here are some fabulous quotes from Michael Jordan that will push or encourage you to not only be a better player, but it is for you to be a better person!
- I can accept failure, everyone accept failures. But I can't accept not trying.
- My attitude is that you push me towards something that you think is a weakness, then i will turn that perceived weakness into a strength.
- Talent wins games, but teamwork and intelligence win championships.
- If you are trying to achieve, there will be roadblocks. I had them; everybody has had them. But obstacles don't have to stop you. If you run into a wall, don't run around and give up. Figure out how climb out, go through it or work around it.
- To be successful you have to be selfish, or else you never achieve. And once you get to your highest level, then you have to be unselfish. Stay reachable. Stay in touch. Don't isolate.

Every Game has its Rules!
Okay I'm going to start from the rules' history. In 1892, there was a man named James Naismith had published his rules and regulation for the game of "Basketball" that he invented. It's a little unfair for the one who played basketball at the first place because that the original game's rules were quite different from today as there was no dibbling, dunking, three pointers, or shot clock, and goal tending was legal. Besides that, any other rules are still the same. So, here they are:
1. The ball may be thrown in any direction with one or both hands.
2. The ball may be batted in any direction with one or both hands.
3. A player cannot run with the ball. The player must throw it from the spot on which he catches it, allowance to be made for a man who catches the ball when running at good speed if he tries to stop.
4. The ball must be held in or between the hands; the arms or body must not be used for holding it.
5. No shouldering, holding, striking, pushing, or tripping in any way of an opponent. The first infringement of this rule by any person shall count as a foul; the second shall disqualify him until the next basket is made or, if there was evident intent to injure the person, for the whole of the game. No substitution shall be allowed.
6. Afoul is striking at the ball with the fist, violation of rules three and four and such describe in rule five.
7. If either side makes three consecutive fouls, it shall count a goal for the opponents (consecutive means without the opponents in the mean time making a foul).
8. A goal shall be made when the ball is thrown or batted from the grounds into the basket and stays there (without falling), providing those defending the goal do not touch or disturb the goal. If the ball rests on the edges, and the opponent moves the basket, it shall count as a goal.
9. When the ball goes out of bounds, it shall be thrown into the field of play and played b the first person touching it. In case of dispute the umpire shall throw it straight into the field. The thrower-in is allowed five umpire shall call a foul on that side.
10. The umpire shall be the judge of the men and shall note the fouls and notify the referee when three consecutive fouls have been made. He shall have power to disqualify people according to Rule 5.
11.The referee shall be judge of the ball and shall decide when the ball is in play, in bounds, to which side it belongs, and shall keep the time. He shall decide when goal has been made and keep account of the baskets. with any other duties that are usually performed be scorekeeper.
12. The time shall be two fifteen-minute halves, with five minutes rest between.

Yup That's Me! :D
Amazing shots from Titus, the kid, between 18 and 24 months old only! He began shooting baskets shortly after learning how to walk! It's really fun to have a mini basket in a house!
Besides that, this trick shot video by Titus is really amazing! Nearly none of other kids can do this! You know what? Even you or anybody else also can't do these trick shots.

Derrick Rose's Success!
ThE KeYs ThAt DrIvEs Derrick Rose to be Success!
Rose did not just wake up one day with a great handle, a mid-range jumper and energy on defence. He worked very hard to improve, even before he got to junior high. It's true that this man is naturally gifted with this kind of talent, but many naturally-gifted athletes never become superstars. The biggest key to Rose's success is his work of ethic.
"I remember graduating from grammar school, and my friends went out to eat. I wanted to work out," says Rose. "That was me. I really did not want to hang out or anything; I just wanted to play basketball."
From an early age, Rose already knew that he have to make sacrifices to become great. Success does not just happen to you if you do not put any effort to do something. In conclusion, you have to work for it.
2. Always Stay Positive
There will always be reasons for an athlete to be negative. A shooting slump, lack of playing time or poor mental focus can introduce plenty of issues. But staying positive is one of the most important things a player can do to continue getting better.
“I stay positive by having positive people around me, like my close circle of friends,” says Rose. “My positive energy helps me a lot. On the court, you just have that confidence that no matter where you’re at, no matter what you’re doing, you just have a good feeling about yourself.”
Complaining about little things may feel good in the moment, but staying mentally tough and learning to overcome obstacles is what makes a player great.
3. Never Be Satisfied
It’s tempting to want to rest on your laurels after achieving some success. But it’s the fastest way to stop progressing as a player.
It’s tempting to want to rest on your laurels after achieving some success. But it’s the fastest way to stop progressing as a player.
After Rose was selected first overall in the 2008 NBA Draft, he could have slowed the pace of his development or even stopped working. But he never felt like he was good enough to stop hitting the gym—which is how he became the youngest MVP in NBA history.
“Every year I’ve been improving,” says Rose, “just adding things to my game.” This off-season, he spent more time hitting the weights, and he’s looking forward to adding both on-court skills and weight room strength to his game.
“I put my goals as high as possible,” says D-Rose. “To me, anything is possible.”
